ScoreKeeper Wireframes

Sep 22, 2009 - Posted in User Experience

ScoreKeeper is a prototype web application for allowing users to quickly and easily enter data for, and track all of the different  ”scores” in their life like amounts, numbers, distances, times, scores, weights, etc.

These are the accompanying wireframes for ScoreKeeper, and their purpose was to help myself design, and develop the app as a sole developer, hence they have less technical documentation than if they were to be used by another person.

In designing the interface for this app I kept the following in mind:

  • I am designing for busy people; if they are going to take the time to use my app, it has to be simple
  • Users should be able to see at-a-glance how much each of their scores has changed over the past week or month without having to click around
  • Since the App is for busy people, it should have a “shallow” structure, meaning that there are not many layers that a user has to go through to access the most important functionality
